The “day of love” is coming soon…some people love it and others dread it. I love that my husband brings me flowers each year (I’m going to have to give him some ideas other than chocolate as I have cut out sugar this year!) We are able to go out on a date around Valentine’s Day…it is great to be able to have a conversation with him without interruptions from my wonderful little people! I love to celebrate the day with my husband…I also love to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my family.
Fun ways to celebrate Valentine’s day with your kiddos!
Last year I found some fun family activities on the Dating Divas website…we had a great time playing the games and solving the puzzles on the scavenger hunt. This was a fun activity that was easy to put together thanks to the free printables.
Then we ate dinner at Cupids Crazy Cafe (aka…our kitchen with a fun twist!) Another great activity with free printables! Hint: I hung all the menus on the cupboard door so I could see them easily. It might get a little crazy if you are the one serving everyone…but it is tons of fun!
I thought this family love night looked like a fun idea to put together this year. We don’t live near family so it should be a fun way to get to know some fun facts about grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins! If you plan to try it…get started now so you have time to get the answers back!
